The Factory of Light
In the church’s courtyard, salvaged trompe l’oeil façades previously used to shroud some of the city’s notable buildings during restoration are wrapped across scaffolding—cut and collaged into a recomposed Milanese streetscape. Within, a story of meticulous craft is illuminated: the making of our first trio of lights—Aposē.
From brass-forging in Germany to glass- blowing in Italy, four scenes of constructive sensoriality spotlight the meticulous skills of family-run workshops.
Aposē is a handcrafted manifestation of our perspective on light, derived from decades of designing stores and skin care formulations. For those wishing to place Aposē in their own home, the table lamp has been produced in a limited series.
